By downloading or using Petit Français (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
Petit Français offers auto-renewable subscriptions to unlock all worlds, the Voice Discussion feature, and the Parent Dashboard.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings at any time after purchase. Cancelling will stop future charges, but you will continue to have access until the end of the current paid period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by law.
If you start a free trial for the Annual subscription, your Apple ID will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial language learning.
All content in the App, including French vocabulary, illustrations, audio, and the Lili the Unicorn mascot, is owned by us and protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
The Voice Discussion feature uses Apple's on-device Speech Recognition and Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. Responses are generated by an AI model and may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected. Use of Voice Discussion is intended for educational play.
The App is designed for children ages 3–6. Purchases, external links, and the Parent Dashboard are protected by a parental gate that requires adult-level interaction. Parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of the App.
The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
